Brunch @ The Grounds of Alexandria

Good Evening my lovely readers!


Today, we'll be sharing our wonderful brunch pictures at the Grounds with you! The Grounds of Alexandria is nothing you have seen before! It's this beautiful area with heaps of lovely eateries, floral bushes, insanely gorgeous landscape (perfect for pictures), and the ambience is just- magnificent.

There is a variety of food- from Italian to your regular avocado toast (which is bomb), to the most photogenic desserts you'll ever see. LET US SHOW YOU THE PROOF!

We ordered a pizza, chicken shnitzel burger, avocado toast, lemon tart, berry cronut, brownie, and a red velvet cake.. Yes, that was a lot of food..

Up close and personal with copious amounts of avocado, this was definitely a 9/10!

It was such a great experience! We definitely advise you to visit the Grounds on the weekends because the ambience is more lively than compared to weekdays. Here's a breakdown of our ratings for the food we had:

1) Chicken Shnitzel Burger with Chip - 9/10, super crispy shnitzel! the chips were perfectly crispy too!

2) Pizza - 7/10, skip this! Visit Newtown for better pizzas!

3) Avocado Toast with Feta - 9/10, this was SO good, really simple but worth the $$$ because we were served a HUGE amount of avocado.

4) Lemon Tart - 6/10, this was not bad, but we've definitely had better - skip this!

5) Berry Cronut - 8/10, very crispy on the outside with a lovely custard in the center.

6) Walnut Brownie - 8/10, super rich brownie that was perfect to share! 

7) Red Velvet Cake - 7/10, We agreed that we've had better but it was still enjoyable. We wouldn't order it again though- get donuts instead!

Overall, how did we feel about the Grounds? Well, you definitely pay for the amazing ambience and the experience. It is a lovely place for families and friends to hang out on the weekends (let's not forget to take 10000 selfies there!) The price point for the food was average.. It's around the usual price of cafe food, around $15++. The Grounds is a beautiful place and a famous tourist must-go, so bring your friends and your family for a RESPITE from the busy weekdays to enjoy the Grounds!
