Sejong Korean BBQ - Campsie
Hi all, Simon writing for Global Foodies. This post is all about Sejong KBBQ at Campsie (near the station). This place is awesome and is my go to place to have a feast with friends. It is an all you can eat KBBQ with many amazing food options like sushi, tempura and seafood. There is also ice cream so that is a huge bonus of the buffet. Being a KBBQ place you have to cook your own meat but that's part of the fun. You have many different cuts of meat and they also provide some cooked food already, their fried chicken is pretty good as well. Depending on the cut of meat it can be chewy but juicy or very tender so pick a plate and choose what you like.
For drinks there are soft drinks, water is provided and there is sugar cane juice. But of course the most common drink is soju (drink responsibly). Whenever you go KBBQ with friends there is bound to be a round of soju for everyone. I also tried the rice wine which they were selling, as I have never tried it before it was a surprising taste. For alcohol it didn't have the strong punch most drinks usually do, it went down smooth and was some what refreshing and left a tingling sensation on the tongue.
Overall, the staff is quite friendly and provides good service as they come around to your table from time to time to replace the BBQ grill as it gets dirty/sooty over the charcoal fire. Pricing is decent if you can eat enough, at $38 per person for the food with separate costs of drinks (rice wine was $12). The atmosphere is great and you get a welcoming vibe, this is why it is my go to KBBQ place.
*Just a note, there is a 2 hour time limit so try eat your moneys worth.
