NIGHT NOODLE MARKET (till 22nd OCT)

WE ARE BACK FROM DINNER AT THE NIGHT NOODLE MARKETS!!
Yes.. We are too excited to share this with you! 

The Night noodle market happens every year at Hyde Park. It's basically a food festival (sort of) with tons of food booths! There are 30+ sizzling food stalls serving up the best street food from across the Asian region- some made specifically for the night market! It's pretty exciting.. 

The markets will run from Thursday, October 5 until Sunday, October 22. They'll be open Monday and Tuesday 5-9pm, Wednesday and Thursday 5–10pm, Friday 5–11pm, Saturday 4–10pm, and Sunday 4–9pm. Entry is free but the place — if other years are anything to go by — will be packed. GET THERE ASAP!!

Gelato Messina, one of our favourite gelato brands, created 4 night noodle market specials. It's inspired by Japanese flavours and if you have a sweet tooth, we've got YOU COVERED! We ordered the strawberry cheesecake ice cream and the sesame ice cream. We also tried the special deep fried katsu ice cream (which wasn't that great to be honest). Here are some visuals..

It was $12/each, was it worth $12? Not exactly... But it was good! We'd give it a 8/10 rating!

MOVING ON, we also tried the 'ChiChi fries'. It's basically beer battered chips topped with a  meat of your choice, kimchi, mayo, and chilli sauce. It was AMAZING. It was $15, but the portion was pretty huge. It's perfect for sharing between 2 people!
