The Grounds of the City

HEY LOVELY PEOPLE OF THE WORLD! 

We're back with another fantastic food review! This time, we went to the Grounds of the City. It's located at the Galleries at Town Hall. Remember the time we went to the Grounds of Alexandria? Yeah! This is pretty much the same thing, just that it's in the city.. Pretty exciting huh!

Let's jump right into the dishes we ordered!!

Lychee Rose Pop

$7.50, 5/10. We didn't really enjoy this drink because the rose was too overpowering..

Caramel Pecan Cake 

This cake was AMAZING! It came as a set with a coffee for $12. It's really worth the money! Perfect for a high tea respite... This cake looked like it would be heavy on the palette, but NO! It was light and the frosting wasn't too heavy or sweet. HANDS DOWN 9/10! 

Parmesan Vinegar Fries
$8, 5/10. Skip this and try MacDonald's truffle loaded fries...

Mushroom Parmesan Pasta
$23, 7.5/10. This was absolutely delicious but it was definitely overpriced. But if you're including ambience in the price... then it's worth it!

Our overall experience at the Grounds of the City? Well, it is definitely worth a visit! Pop in for high tea instead of lunch. You'll enjoy the ambience and how quaint the restaurant looks; the lively and old school vibes are one of a kind! There aren't many places like the Grounds!
